Leading Producers Round Table
NAHU formed LPRT (Leading Producers Round Table) in 1942 to recognize the successful underwriters of Accident & Health Insurance. Today, the LPRT committee is committed to making LPRT the premier program for top Health, Disability, Long-Term Care and Worksite Marketing Insurance producers, carrier reps, carrier management, and general agency/agency managers.
Mississippi Political Action Committee
The Mississippi Political Action Committee (MSPAC) is the state association that represents HUPAC, the political action committee of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). Our right to free speech and expression of our polilcital beliefs have become far more than useful options for professionals in a heavily regulated industry such as ours. They have become necessary. Since NAHU is prohibited from making political contributions, HUPAC was created to allow contributors to combine their political and financial support to a candidate to achieve maximum effect. By combining our resources, we can make a difference where it will have the greatest impact for our colleagues, our clients and, above all, our country.
Few other industries are as heavily regulated as the health insurance industry. It is therefore critical that we reach out and support those congressional candidates who support and believe in private-sector health insurance as well as the roles of agents and brokers. Anyone may contribute to the MS PAC, but only members of NAHU, their families, and staff may contribute to HUPAC. Become an active voice in the legislative developments that impact your business. Your donation helps to ensure support for our elected state officials who understand our goals and support our industry.
